I am a Singing-guitarist with a vast repertoire of Pop, Rock, and Americana songs from the 50's through the 2000's. I can also play banjo, mandolin, and Ukulele. I perform regularly at bars and restaurant up and down the New Jersey shore. I have a strong singing voice, and I can cover songs from many different artists and styles.
A favorite event: One of my most recent GigSalad jobs was playing the role of a Bard, à la "The Witcher." I accompanied members of a bachelor party on an Atlantic City Boardwalk adventure, regaling them with songs while playing Mandolin. That was a throughly unique and fun experience. So, if you are looking for a Bard, I am definitely your man!
Pete was an excellent choice. He was on time, played a variety of music, and was well liked. Would definitely recommend him for any event.
Response from Pete Glaze:
Thank you! That was a fun place to play, with receptive older listeners and lots of youthful energy as well. I would enjoy playing there again.
I had a really atypical event that required a musician to follow us around (and do a bit of acting as well!). Pete was the perfect choice. Not only was he comfortable with the idea, but he excelled at riffing with the spontaneity of the event and also ended up being a fantastic choice, socially speaking, for the kind of intimacy and personableness that this event required. 10/10 would recommend.
Response from Pete Glaze:
Thank you, TJ, I had a great time as well.
We were looking for last minute replacement for our block party turned out to be great pick
Thanks
Response from Pete Glaze:
Thanks, Larry! I had a great time as well!
Everyone at my party really enjoyed Pete!! He did an awesome job and was a real trooper playing outside in the heat!!!!!!
Response from Pete Glaze:
Thank you, Dana! It was a pleasure! I’d love to play for you guys again!
Pete played great. Has a nice voice and was well liked by my guests. He offers a huge songlist and is very friendly and accomodating.
We needed someone to play hits from the 70s&80s. When he began to sing the first song, we were enchanted. Can't wait to hear him at our next event.
Pete Glaze performed at my wedding. He is an accomplished and versatile guitar player and has a beautiful singing voice that really rings out. His voice is perfect for rock & roll and he had an extensive list of songs. Mr. Glaze is a real musician with his own style and was very professional to work with. People were able to request songs and all the guests at the party gave me so many compliments on the music! His music made the wedding reception amazing and I couldn't be happier with my choice!!! It would be a pleasure to hire him again!!!

I am a singer, guitar and banjo player, and songwriter. While I do write and perform my own songs (many of them comic in nature), for most of my gigs I play cover songs drawn from a large repertoire of classic rock, and folk songs. I also, very recently, served as a “Bard,” à la “The Witcher,” accompanying folks on an Atlantic City Boardwalk adventure, playing my mandolin and singing songs.
I also host the Open Mic every Thursday from 6:30-9pm at Ventnor Coffee, 108 N Dorset Ave, Ventnor Heights, NJ.
I am originally from New York City, but now I reside in Atlantic City with my wife and sons. Over the last 15 years I have performed solo at bars, restaurants and events up and down the NJ Shore. In previous years I performed as leader of a trio, and as lead-singer for a classic rock cover band, around the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas.
Requirements are minimal. Assuming you want an amplified performance, all I really needs is a small space and electricity for the PA system. If I am to play as a duet with Steve Kuzma, the violin player, I will need a slightly larger space.
Note: If performance is to be for more than 90 minutes I will need to break the show into +/- 1 hr "sets" with 10 to 15 minute breaks between them.
