We hired Mr. Pete to play background music at a wedding rehearsal dinner we hosted last week. He was wonderful! He played guitar and sang for almost three hours. The guests really enjoyed his music, and he nailed all the songs. We were so pleased with him, and highly recommend him.

Response from Peter Fuerst:
It was a great idea for the hosts of the party to have some live music to add to the evening's festivities. There were some beautiful speeches, plenty of food and refreshments, and I think the live music created a nice backdrop to the conversations.......

It was a pleasure to meet Pete! He provided perfect background music for us. He was so accommodating and pleasant! Our guests were very pleased and appreciated the special touch he added to the evening! I will book him again for a similar event when the need arises! Thank you!

I was asked to play at a Bridal Shower, which I had never done before, but it worked out great. The folks attending (both ladies and guys) were fun-loving people, and it was a very friendly, lively occasion. I was asked to provide some background music, and I think having live music enhanced the festive mood. I was glad to have been a part of it.

He was simply great. Everybody enjoyed his guitar and songs. He has a long repertoire and makes sure that you listen to the music that you are looking for. I would definitely hire him again!

Our Nursing Home had the pleasure of having Peter for a celebration of spring social. He was well prepared, arrived in plenty of time, and played from the genres I requested. He added a unique touch to his performance that was perfect for our residents. He introduced each genre and/or song by briefly taking them back to the period or musician relevant at the time. Our residents have asked that he come back so that makes him a 5/5 for us!

I scheduled Mr. Pete for a singing telegram for my sisters birthday, not only did he stay in contact with me but even stopped at a store to get a bouquet and balloons I had ordered to give to her. He really went above and beyond and I am so grateful!!!

After the pandemic caused my husband and I to reschedule and scale down our wedding, we weren't sure what we were going to do for music. I found Mr. Pete on GigSalad and was so immediately impressed by his talent after hearing samples. He was such a pleasure to work with and actually took the time to practice playing my first dance song and worked with my maid of honor, who sang vocals. My parents, husband, and I are to lucky to have found Mr. Pete for our wedding and he truly made the night extra special!

I contacted Mr Pete from California looking for someone who could sing a "birthday blues" song for my good friend's 70 birthday party in Binghamton, NY. We spoke on the phone about some possible ideas. I emailed him some lyrics, and he then emailed me back an MP3 version of a great original birthday blues tune. He showed up on time and delivered a wonderful surprise for my friend, who reported back to me that he was "flabbergasted". Overall it was a first rate experience. Mr Pete's enthusiasm and professionalism was greatly appreciated. He delivered just what I was looking forward, and then some!

The lyrics written for the 70th birthday song were great.....I loved working them into a blues song...it was a great experience for me, also.

What to Expect
I have a duel approach to playing. I can be the "Solo Guitarist/Singer", and play very varied, but strictly acoustic, song sets. These are perfect for a smaller dinner crowd, or a cocktail hour before a reception, or a light musical background to an event or gathering.
I also have a drum machine I work with, which gives a real boost to the music, and can lend itself to a more upbeat effect. I would play both acoustic and electric guitars, and try my best to cook in some energy into the atmosphere.
About
I love playing guitar, learning songs, writing songs, and performing. I've been doing it for a long time, and it only gets better. I grew up on the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and all that great 60's music, with a big dose of Bob Dylan and all the other folk singers added in. I next fell in love with the "New Wave" and played in a band that featured a variety of songs from the Talking Heads, The Police, and The Ramones..to name a few. As music moved through the following decades, I tried to keep up, and now here I am with a whole lot of songs to play .....what I think are some of the best songs ever written.....
Additional Booking Notes
I have two set-ups. One is very simple: a Bose S1 duel battery operated/plug in sound system......great for anywhere (especially where there isn't an electrical outlet to be found!).
Simple, but very sweet in its sound.
And I have a Yamaha STAGEPAS system, which can fill almost any room with some nice sound.
