“PHENIX Comes Alive” is a tribute to the music of Peter Frampton. Concentrating on the Greatest selling live album of all time, “Frampton Comes Alive”. The name Phenix is derived from the infamous 1954 Black Beauty Les Paul guitar that adorns the cover of “Frampton Comes Alive”. This guitar was stolen from a plane crash in South America that was thought to have burned in the crash. Amazingly, It was returned to Peter, 32 years after the crash, just before the “Comes Alive 35” tour. It has risen from the ashes, hence the name "Phenix"
