Born in SW Louisiana, Phillip is the sole son in a family of four children. He was a basketball player in his day and was looking forward to playing college ball. An injury on the court in high school ended that dream. Phillip took a look at his report card from high school and saw grades like C,C,C,C, with A's in Chorus and P.E., so he figured he could coach or sing. He earned a degree in education from McNeese State, thinking coaching was the way to go, but politics in education today didn't fit his vision, so he made the switch to music and has been there ever since. "Country with a rock edge", Phillp's infectious high energy keeps the crowd on their feet and begging for more.
Phillip has been in bands who opened for some major acts; as, Hootie and the Blowfish, Marshall Tucker Band and Eddie Money just to name a few. More recently he opened for Rodney Atkins, Doug Stone, Highway 101 and Sammy Kershaw. He has also shared the stage with Mark Chestnut,Bobby Kimball of TOTO and Wayne Toups. Phillip surrounds himself with great players and great people.
Phillip's passion and love is performing and making his fans happy with his music.
