We are Phresh Syndicate, a Hip-Hop group based in Detroit, MI. Our Music is a fusion of Rap, Hip-Hop, Funk, and R&B. All original, we compose, write ,and perform each song: Thus, creating a mood and sound that is different from many Hip-Hop artists and groups that are heard today. Best friends Star Richie and Buffy B. of Phresh Syndicate are definitely not your average. The duo, straight from Detroit, is one of hip hop’s newest and most innovative groups. With songs like “Get High” and “Arizona Skies”, these talented young artists seek to create a sound and mood more unique than ever heard before! Every beat you hear from Phresh Syndicate is created by Star Richie, who is also the group’s singer, but can easily spit fire as a rapper. Buffy B, who is the 2nd half of the crew, is also a rapper. Buff's edgy, yet smooth, verses add a special quality to each track. No use in comparing them to other artists you've heard before because together, these two create a versatile sound that is unparalleled.

S: I can’t name any person or group specifically because there are so many great songs that have influenced the music we make. The list goes on and on (The Isley Bros, Tupac, etc..) but I can say that our sound is influenced by time periods in music. For example, we have written songs that were inspired by Funk from the 70s or by Hip Hop and R&B from the 90s.
B: Lifes situations and circumstances are the main influencial components of the art we create. It's a passion that comes from the heart and no one else can influence that the way life does.
