Overview
I'm a pianist with 40+ years' experience, willing to perform for your next event: church services, weddings, funerals, private parties, nursing homes, church functions, background music for stores, etc. I can easily perform 200+ church hymns from memory, as well as 50+ Christmas carols, and 150+ pop music songs from the '80s, '90s, '00s, TV/movie soundtracks, etc...plus a few classical/general type songs. I charge reasonable rates, depending on the event itself + my traveling time to get there (I live in Rockford - suburb of GR). Please note that I play piano by ear/memory only and do not read sheet music very well. I do require a piano to be there at the venue already, or electric keyboard.

Mike was very professional and sent us his repertoire of songs that he plays and requested that we send him our choices the evening before so that he can rehearse them. He arrived to our church early and rehearsed with our members and overall did a fantastic job! We were so blessed to have him accompany us on Sunday.

Michael is very professional and showed up early to prepare for the show. He was willing to play on our old, falling apart, piano and made it sound brand new! He plays a lot of old hymns and my residents loved it! They were singing along and moving to the music.

I do require a piano be already there at the venue, in order to play my piano music (or even an electronic keyboard). I don't read sheet music very well, and can only play songs by ear that I already know. However that is quite a long list! Upon request, I'm happy to send you an alphabetical list of all the songs I do know how to play on the piano: both hymns/church songs, and then also some pop/80's, 90's, 00's, movie/TV, etc + Christmas/holiday songs too.
