Pinche Blues Band

Danceable music. Mostly blues, but also some rock (Doors, Hendrix) and latin rock.

Most of us have played together for years. Here the individual bios:

Abe Acuña—Vocals, Harmonica, Guitar. Abe's dad was a professional vocalist in Sonora and Chihuahua, playing rock en español. When Abe was a small kid, rather than telling him bedtime stories, his dad would count him to sleep ("one, two, three, four"). Abe has played in bands in Tucson over the last 15 years, including Backsliders and Built for Comfort.

Chaz Bufe Chaz Bufe—Guitar. Chaz has played in blues, jazz, and rock bands in San Francisco and Tucson, including Backsliders and Built for Comfort. Chaz holds a degree in music theory and composition, and is the author of An Understandable Guide to Music Theory: The Most Useful Aspects of Theory for Rock, Jazz & Blues Musicians.

Fred Hartshorn Fred Hartshorn—Keyboards, Saxophone. Fred has played with blues, rock, and country artists and bands in Michigan and Tucson, including Ned Sutton and Built for Comfort.

David Miller David Miller—Drums. David has played in rock and roll and blues bands here in Tucson including the Havalinas, Dusty J, and Mint Julep.

Michael Zubay Michael Zubay—Bass. While still in his teens, Michael was a touring musician, playing with bands and artists including Glen Campbell, Roy Clark and Deep Purple. Since then he's played with rock and country bands in Ohio and Tucson. Most recently he's played with Heart to Heart and with Nashville recording artist J.T. Reno.

We have everything we need. All we require is a place to set up (preferably a stage) and AC outlets. For outdoor gigs at night, you'd need to provide lighting.
