1970s - 2000's R&B/Hip Hop/Rap/Funk Vocal Band. We bang around with our instruments (aka, our voices) with no sheet music and just make music that is edgy, raw, and uninhibited. Our style is not choral, pretty or traditional doo wop. We bring heavy bass, sick beats and solid energy to the stage. Couple this with moments of harmonic bliss, and we are, simply put, a party on the stage!
This group was very communicative, did exactly what they said they would do on time and was easy to work with.

Pitches Be Crazy (also known as PBC) is a 5 person, all vocal cover band based out of Fort Washington, MD. Using no instruments or backing music, PBC creates all of the music through innovative arrangements and the use of electronic effects processors to enhance the product. Although the music is created solely by the vocalist’s voices, the use of effects processors creates a full-instrument band sound. With heavy percussion and sub-harmonic bass, PBC creates music similar to any other full-instrument band.
Because of the diversity in ages and socio-economic backgrounds of the members, R&B and hip-hop artists from the 1970s thru 1990s heavily influence the music selection covered by the band. The goal of PBC in live performances is to create a “party” like atmosphere with recognizable, up-tempo, high-energy music.
PBC legitimized itself as a small business in the state of Virginia as “Pitches Be Crazy, LLC” in August 2014 with the majority of live performances in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Today PBC continues to perform at live shows, and produces their own professionally produced music that is available on all major digital outlets.
Genre: R&B, Hip-Hop, Rap, Funk, Pop
