Josh did an hour of entertainment for my son's 4th birthday. 30 minutes of a juggling act and 30 minutes of balloon twisting. We had mixed ages ranging from babies to adolescents and of course the adults; Josh did a great job tailoring the show to have a little something for everyone. The kids loved the balloon twisting in the end too, and it seemed like there was nothing Josh couldn't twist up. I wholeheartedly recommend Josh for anyone on the fence.

The characters/actors were great! The juggling was a highlight for most people. Thing 3 & 4 had great interactions with the guests that added an excellent touch of whimsy to an 21+ gala! We hosted a rather large party for my 5 year old daughter, 30 children between 4 and 7 years old. Playtime was early and went right to work making my children laugh as we set up and waited for our guests. Every child was happy with the balloon art and that's all I needed to be happy too. I wish I had more time to watch him engage and hear his jokes as I did hear bursts of laughter so I'm sure he was pretty funny too.

Playtime is an amazing entertainer. He knows just how to entertain the kids, our group was 20 kids, all between 2-5, and they were all intrigued by the show! He knew just what they wanted, and delivered. My daughter is still talking about his performance. He made fun balloon animals, shapes and even customized the balloon offerings to my theme, and added candy to the inside of the balloons! Josh was easy to communicate with, was on-time, courteous to the parents and my guests, dressed up based on the theme of my party and made it an event to remember! You can not go wrong with Playtime! My family and I were blown away by the amazing experience we had with Josh for our event. It was a party for 1 year old twins. There were 115 guests, roughly 85 of those were kids under 11 years old. Josh was with our family for the 4 hour duration of the party. He was a superstar from the very beginning when he showed up 30 mins. early to introduce himself to the family, familiarize himself with the birthday boy and girl, and set up. He is a phenomenal artist and did an amazing job face painting and balloon twisting for all the kids. Josh is wonderful interacting, entertaining, and providing fun for kids of all ages! I highly recommend him and will continue to work with him through the many milestones Jocelyn and Jacob have.

My daughter got to meet her superhero Spider-Man and she had the best time! At first some of the kids were a little cautious but Josh was able to quickly get them laughing and enjoying the show! Playtime is a great choice for your child's next birthday celebration. We recently hired them for my son's 4th birthday party at home and were not disappointed. We had around 30 children of varying ages (2 years to 10 years) and Playtimekept them entertained for the entirety of the 2-hour reservation, allowing my husband and I to enjoy ourselves and socialize with the adults! :) The professionals at Playtime were prompt, professional, kind, and attentive to all the children. I booked Playtime at the last minute, but they were accommodating, professional, and great with communication. Josh was really thoughtful about making sure he customized the show. His audience was a 2 yr old, a 6 yr old and 9 yr old, so he had a lot to wrangle in order to entertain such a variety of age groups. A "Come to the Fair" theme ushered in the Palmyra Eagle band concert on Sunday , July 12th. Keeping with that theme Josh, the balloon man, delighted the children with his ability to turn a simple long balloon into animals of all kinds. A picture taken at the "fair" shows a group of children wide-eyed watching his performance. In addition Josh did a juggling act with the band to the tune of Skater's Waltz. Judging by the crowd's reaction, these were some of the most engaging moments. Repeated applause was heard throughout his act.

I will arrive with time to set up and get into costume if I am not already in one. Every show is different and can be catered to your needs or I can run it myself. Sometimes I'll start with music, greetings, ninja/super hero training, and then some dance songs like the chicken dance, hokey pokey, etc. Pictures and balloons are also a favorite, along with juggling and other demonstrations. Magic shows are upon request that typically run 30 minutes to one hour. When hiring a clown I will usually come without any makeup but with a clown nose. I can come with makeup if requested but there may be a small charge. Audience members and clients alike can expect to be left with a priceless smile, a life long memory, and happiness to be shared forever.
Hooray!! You want to book me for your event, trade show or celebration! I can't wait! I love entertaining! I started entertaining as a child when I would play jokes on kids. As an adult I have taken things a bit more serious. O.K. well maybe not that serious. I still like to play jokes on kids, but now the jokes are usually on me. I guess thats why I like being a clown. Growing up was tough and I sometimes wonder if I ever will.
My childhood was about as normal as it could get being the youngest of 5. I worked factory and hard labor jobs as a young adult, but it just wasn't fulfilling. I was destined for more. No, not the 9-5 office job, or the late night doorman at the club. I tried that, but I wanted something else. Teaching skateboarding was both fun and rewarding, but I still needed more. So I began to juggle.
I have dedicated days to juggling. When I say days I mean literally days of non-stop juggling. I have a repertoire of 3 ball tricks, and can do up to five quite well. Six and seven balls just looks silly, but is definitely possible. It became an obsession. Some days you could catch me juggling through the store or at a park. I even ran my first and only half marathon while juggling a three ball cascade the whole way (which I dropped about twenty times). Occasionally I would over hear a child crying in a store, and I would go and juggle for them. It would instantly cheer them up. It was like magic.
I started juggling and stilt-walking at festivals until one day I met a magician who hired me to be a clown for a child's birthday party. Shortly after the magician, who became my agent, began to teach me some magic and more balloon animals. I would dress up as super-heros/ninjas for parties to do super-hero/ninja training, balloons, magic, games, dancing, and juggling. I was hooked. I love to see and make children happy! I then found more agents to work for, and more parties to entertain.
Then you booked me for your event which was cheaper than going through an agent, and the rest is history. :)
The more you have the better! I supply the basics, such as a costume, balloons, props, and a bluetooth speaker with music. If you have a stage, lighting, or sound that's great, but not necessary.
