"Art and I are one...it is the Rhythm of my Life...it's the Key of my Life's Harmony"
I had the pleasure of getting to know Terri Durden when we both were writing articles for a local magazine. Her love for community became very apparent in the first 10 minutes of meeting her.
Like me she uses words to educate, to heal pain and to build futures. Because of her, young people in our community see brighter futures regardless of their current circumstances!
Terri is a passionate writer and community activist with years of hard work and experience. Her work embodies the drive and determination of our rich ancestry. She is able to weave poems and stories that are relatable but also challenge the reader to think beyond. Her heart for the people and the community she serves is evident in all she does!
