We take our servanthood to Jesus Christ as a tremendous responsibility. But as Christians we feel that we have the most reason to be joyful! We strive to do our best to make everyone glad they came out to share in the worship experience. Uplifting saint and reaching the lost is our goal.
Frankie Hiett King formed the group in 1995 and Ronny King joined the group in 1998. Recently a group change turned the group into a family group with Jimmy Hiett cousin to Frankie.
Our style is progressive southern gospel to country gospel. We write and promote our songs nationwide. Please give us a call we are anxious to meet new friends and serve in anyway possible.
"Point of Honor" was at our Church this evening. I cannot say enough about their performance. Their love for God is evident, their harmonies are top-rate, and their music, a mixture of traditional and contemporary, is professional grade. If your Church or Church group is looking for wholesome Gospel entertainment, you should seriously consider "Point of Honor."

We hope that audience member will be uplifted by our good news in song. We present the truth of the gospel and we enjoy doing it. We pray that every soul leaves a bit changed by hearing this good news.
We are very flexible in planning a service. We always want to be available to the Holy Spirits leading. We look at our music ministry as an opportunity to serve Christ and people. We consider it an honor to be in His work.
I am Frankie Hiett King and I began writing songs in 1989 while going through a severe life crisis. The Lord would wake me up with a new song which I had never heard before. I have continued to hone my writing but kept working in my real estate business. I have now devoted myself to full-time ministry. I am going on faith one step at a time and waiting to see what the Lord has ahead for me.
I am married to Ronny King who is a treasure. He is proof that a man can retain integrity throughout his life. He has a tremendous ablility to read the word of God and glean new insights that I could have never seen. He is also the tech guy of the group. We have our own studio which we are in the process of upgrading to make it a fully digital, working studio. He sings just about any part and has an incredible sense of humor. Anywhere he goes he always make people smile!
The year of 2013 has brought change to the group. We replaced our soprano singer with the addition of Valerie Hiett Smalley, niece of Frankie and brought on Jimmy Hiett who is a cousin to Frankie. What a joy it is to travel and sing as a family! God has answered our prayer!
We bring our own.

My songwriting style is a blend of singers/songwriters I began to hear as a young girl. Neil Sedaka's later recordings were instumental in learning some of my chord progressions in songs I write. I loved The Eagles harmony. In later years I fell in love with Lanny Wolfe's Trio's recordings and vocal moves. His writing inspired my style a lot. I was raised around country music but didn't pick up stringed instruments. At church as a child I gravitated to the piano and singing. I attended "singing schools" when I was growing up and was blessed to be in a church that had great singers and music readers! We had all day singings and dinner on the grounds. It was wonderful!
