We held a petting zoo for our residents in the nursing home and it went amazing. Pony express showed up on time. Communicated throughout the whole process and made our residents extremely happy !

First, let me start out by saying the horse handler and the pony were great. They arrived at 2 pm as scheduled for my daughters birthday party. However, they were left at my house until 12 am with just a bucket for water. This was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They were scheduled from 2-3 pm. The last guests left at 8 pm and the horse was still there! As we were not comfortable leaving this poor girl outside all night since it was getting dark and cold out we felt obligated to invite a complete stranger into our home. Not only were they there for 10 hrs, I was left with piles of horse manure all over my yard since it was midnight when they arrived and only had flashlights. At 11 pm, the police were called to my house by a concerned neighbor regarding a horse making noise tied to a tree on my property. My 4 yr old daughter wouldn’t even go to sleep until 12 am because there was a horse right outside her window. They arrived at midnight and all the answers I received were “there was traffic”, “one of our vans broke down”, “we had other jobs”. I said for 10 hrs and they said “yes for 10 hrs”. When I asked about the poor girl left here all day, I was told “she’s on the clock”. Luckily for her, we were very accommodating and offered her food, the use of our bathroom and our house to warm up. I also asked to speak to the boss, but apparently he didn’t even have the decency to come over and apologize for the inconvenience or offer any kind of refund. Now I know why you asked for my money Before you even stepped foot on my property at 2 pm. The children weren’t even allowed to ride the pony after 3 pm because I only paid for an hour. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. Completely unprofessional and rude. Do not take on so many jobs if you can’t handle the work load. I generally do not leave reviews, but felt this was warranted. I do not recommend them, nor will I ever use them again.

i booked an event 2 yrs ago, paid the down payment, called a week before to confirm and the day before the event to confirm and the day of the event it was a no show. i had the cell phone number of the contact person, called several times and no call back. I called the next day and I sent an email and no response. I sent another email requesting my $100 back, again no response. This was such a disappointment to the children (these were children who lost a loved one and were grieving, and the petting zoos we used in the past would be the one thing that made them smile every year we hold such an event.

They were timely! Great service! I would definitley recommend! Thanks Pony Express!!

I am very dissatisfied with the service of this company. First they arrived 6:00 instead of 4:00-5:30. Second, I paid for pony rides they brought petting animals. Lastly, when I tried to contact someone for information I got no answer. Finally, when someone arrived was told the information they received was wrong. I did eventually talk to someone from the company and was to told to send an email and a refund would be issue.

We booked Pony Express for my granddaughters 5th birthday. They were amazing! We had ordered pony rides, a petting zoo, a face painter, and a bounce house. Not only did they work within my budget, but they were prompt and made everything so simple! I would recommend them to anyone looking to hold a party for their child.
