Possibly Irish is a semi-traditional Irish Pub band. Expect foot stomping good fun, and rich vocal harmonies. Possibly Irish celebrates the pub music of Ireland through their lively performances. We play your favorite Irish pub songs, along with a variety of Celtic music. Instruments can include fiddle, Irish whistle, Bodhran drum, mandolin, banjo, accordion, hammered dulcimer, small pipes, harmonica, guitar, acoustic bass, and more. Coupled with the band's harmonic vocals and humor, Possibly Irish brings the fun of the Irish pub to festivals, weddings, concerts, house parties and of course Irish pubs. With 6 bandmates, and many possible combinations, we work to make your event memorable.
My family hires a band once or twice a year. These were the best band we have ever hired over the past ten years. They are extremely talented and played until everyone was dancing and singing alone. A wonderful family event.
Response from Possibly Irish:
Thank you Will! We had a wonderful time with your amazing family. Sharing our music with you was a true joy for us and what a great night with everyone dancing and singing along.
After listing to Possibly Irish for first time at 'Enchanted Forest' south of Salem Oregon, I am forever a fan! You are fervently invited to Western KY, specifically The Carson Center!!! You are the best!!!
Response from Possibly Irish:
Thank you so much for the glowing review! Of course we would love to play in Kentucky! I’ll send our info to the Carson Center and maybe we will see you there sometime.
We loved meeting you at Enchanted Forest! Warm regards, Susan
I've seen them perform a number of times at Enchanted Forest. They're phenomenal!
Entertaining, energetic and musically talented. Put on a show that all-ages enjoyed!
Response from Possibly Irish:
Thanks for your great review. We absolutely love our steady gig at Enchanted Forest. The atmosphere and audiences are great!
The musicians came early and were very good natured. They played awesome Irish jigs just like we wanted. I will definitely book them again. Wonderful!
Response from Possibly Irish:
Thank you so much! We had a fantastic time.
This is my 2nd festival hiring Possibly Irish and it won't be my last. They are super flexible & accommodated scheduling issues. Their communication is top notch.
We love them, and so does the crowd. We had a terrible storm come through and they played through the wind & rain like the professionals they are. We can't wait to work with them for both festivals next year!
We loved having Possibly Irish for our family birthday gathering. A local restaurant let us use their venue. It was beyond perfect. We wanted to recreate a trip to Ireland with pub and music- Possibly Irish made it more than perfect.
Response from Possibly Irish:
Thank you so much! We really enjoyed playing for your family, you were all such a delight. McMenamin's was such a great choice of venue and everyone had a blast!
This is a group of very talented musicians and vocalists. One member of the band switched between the flute, banjo, and bagpipe. We had them play for our fifth grade students at camp. They kept them entertained and even had audience participation songs that kept up the energy throughout the show. At the end the band let all the kids come up and try out their instruments and answered all their questions. They are very entertaining and easy to work with. We will definitely be booking this band again in the near future.
Great re-pour with the crowd. Easy to work with.
