Chicago based PowerPlay FYI was formed in 2006 with a mission to unite people through the pure joy of celebration and music that cuts across taste and age boundaries. We strive to go beyond just playing by delivering live energetic performances of current and classic hits that echo the diverse influences of our hometown music scene. The band's tagline, "Really Live Music!", reflects that attitude.
PowerPlay FYI offers flexible band configurations from 1 to 12 performers (most often 5 to 8). The band can provide its own professional sound and lighting for most venues that accommodate up to 300 guests and a stage area for 5 to 10 performers. Exact technical requirements will vary with the options selected. In all cases, sufficient and reliable AC power must be available at the stage area.
