Dennis Fitzroy Malcolm (born April 10, 1978), better known by his stage name Prince Pankhi, is a founding member of Capleton's Exclusive David House Family, a prominent cultural and musical collective based in Kingston, Jamaica. Originally from Westmoreland, Jamaica, Prince Pankhi's musical journey began at an early age. As a third grader at St. Paul's Primary School, he won first place in a talent show, triumphing over older students from fourth to sixth grade, which cemented his dedication to music.
Prince Pankhi went viral on "Caught in Providence" Court TV when he educated Judge Frank Caprio on Rastafarian culture and His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, who was crowned King of Kings in Ethiopia in 1930. Judge Caprio responded with gratitude for the enlightening discussion, saying, “You broaden my horizons; your country should respect you.” The video quickly garnered millions of views.
Prince Pankhi recently released his album, *The Right Way*, which he self-produced under his independent label, IEntourage Recording Inc., and was mastered by VP Records. The album features collaborations with artists such as Capleton, Fantan Mojah, Zahair, Steve Machettie, Uplifter, and Empress Michel. It is now available on all streaming platforms. Currently, he is working on his upcoming album, *Jump Out*, which will showcase a diverse mix of genres including roots reggae, urban pop, and electronic house.
Known for his electrifying performances, Prince Pankhi has headlined shows and shared the stage with reggae legends such as Capleton, Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Gregory Isaacs, Elephant Man, and Cocoa Tea. He has toured extensively with Capleton and the David House Family across the USA, Jamaica, and Europe, and has also toured Europe with Capleton and Buju Banton. Most recently, June 2024, Prince Pankhi also embarked on his first independent tour in Bogotá, Colombia.
