For the smooth, saxy sounds of R&B and jazz, call the Professor!
Hired professor sax for my mom’s 60th birthday. He was very pleasant and professional. He was also very patient and flexible with us. The guests really enjoyed his performance.
Absolutely Amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The saxophonist gave the worst rendition of the song “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. The instrument was old and sounded old. The player made a complete mess of the song to the extent that it was not recognizable. This was the absolute worst part of what was otherwise a perfect ceremony. I truly regret this booking.
Response from Professor Sax:
Hello Mr. Barrie,
I am SO sorry you feel this way about my performance on Aug 11th. I will contact you directly to personally refund you half of the payment you made. (Please allow me a few days to get the monies to you) I know this won't fix your memory of that, otherwise, special moment, but it is my sincerest gesture and form of apology.
I certainly wish you and your new wife a beautiful new life together and I hope that the happy memories you will create will help to ameliorate the indelible blemish that I have vicariously created on your most special of days.
Sincerely,
Mark, aka Professor Sax
Thank you, Professor Sax, for generously sharing your incredible talent with us. Your performance created the ideal atmosphere for an evening dedicated to celebrating the Renaissance of Black Culture.
Response from Professor Sax:
It certainly was a pleasure to be a small part of such an auspicious and well organized event. The pleasure, I assure you, was mine.
Punctual, Prepared & Perfect for the evening!
Response from Professor Sax:
Thanks Robert, it truly was a pleasure performing for your event!
My team and I were privileged to have Mark, aka Professor Sax, perform at multiple of our work events. His music selection and sound was mesmerizing, and the guests loved how different this was in comparison to the average DJ or playlist at a party! His talent, versatility, and engaging personality made our gatherings unforgettable. We highly recommend Professor Sax for any event in need of top-notch musical entertainment.
Mark is a great performer.. He's prompt and always on time. He keeps the audience engaged and entertained.. I hire him for all of my events.. He will not disappoint you...
Mark blessed us with his amazing gift of playing the saxophone last December. VCMI DC brought to the stage a remake of " A Miracle on 34th Street" w/ a Motown Twist and it was absolutely awesome! Mark was extremely efficient! He was very timely, present, and prepared at every rehearsal and show date.
It was a true blessing working in the same space with Mark and I look forward to working with him in the future.
Response from Professor Sax:
The pleasure was mine Sheikel! You guys were amazing, professional, and overall blessed! I would be fortunate to work with you again!
