Queen It Shall Be

Audiences can expect to have listen, laugh, learn and wonder why someone hasn't said this kind of stuff before. I give a performance that can be related to by even the most diverse audience. I don't attempt to go over anyone's head with my poetry. I have a conversation with the audience and I very seldom will come with a poem that doesn't challenge you to think differently about female poets from the moment I begin to speak.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY now residing in Columbia, SC for the last eleven years. I am a mother, sister, loving friend and supporter of local talent, events and organizations. Love to laugh and smile.

I am a female spoken word artist with poems ranging from those catered to sensitive ears to freestyle to awareness to in your face, uncut and raw. Known mostly for public service announcements that not many have had the courage to present but have definitely been on the minds of more than a few. I have participated in over 100 features and slams across the country to date. I have taken first place in several poetry slams including winning the Queen of the South Poetry Slam held in Greenville, South Carolina in 2011. I come with a comedic flair and shock value encased in a very personable delivery. You will NOT be disappointed!!
