Whether its upbeat jazz for a party or background jazz to set just the right mood Quintessential Jazz Band brews up a rich blend of best loved jazz standards and stellar original tunes with a fresh modern twist. Quintessential has entertained appreciative audiences at venues ranging from posh ballrooms to outdoor festivals to corporate events to packing out the local bistro and more. We have played hundreds of gigs and will work with you to make your event a success.

Quintessential Jazz Band is an experienced, professional and versatile band that is comfortable playing as background music for special events, upbeat music jazz for parties and dancing or being a showcase band for live performances. We have an extensive set list of songs and wide range of jazz styles. We have played hundreds of gigs at all types of venues. We will work with you to provide music within the jazz genre as requested by our clients. We are masters of playing great music that fits the the needs of your event and at the right volume. You work directly with a member of the band who serves as booking manager and coordinator. One more thing, great music!
Quintessential Jazz Band has been playing jazz for people in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland region since 2005. We have enjoyed playing hundreds of events together and have had many repeat bookings. Quintessential plays classic jazz, modern jazz, and original compositions. In addition to a busy gigging calendar our music has been featured on CBC, CKUA and (link hidden) Quintessential has released four albums, our latest being an album of all original songs. References gladly provided.
In general the band needs a stage or performance area 12 X 18. We have our own equipment and PA system.
