Rachel and Ty Acoustics is an acoustic duo local to Philadelphia. We play a wide range of genres, including all of your favorite throwbacks and nostaligic sing-alongs.
I started following Rachel and Ty on instagram, always impressed by their cover song videos and reached out about having them for my wedding ceremony music and cocktail hour music. I was so extremely impressed by Rachel's professional communication, while feeling like she was a close friend, doing whatever was necessary to plan the perfect musical match for us! Rachel and Ty went above and beyond with our requests, while we were also surprised at how many of the songs we loved were already on their vast song list. I couldn't recommend them more, as they ended up being the perfect addition to our day. They set the mood for our ceremony with instrumentals, and a bit of Rachel's vocals for my walk down the aisle. Then, a fun cocktail hour of rock songs, great stage presence, and their own version of our first dance. Don't hesitate to book this duo! Our guests loved them.
Rachel And Ty met and exceeded our expectations as they played for over three hours at our private event! Rachel's beautiful voice and bubbly personality along with Ty's exceptional guitar skills were really enjoyed by all of our guests! I had seen Rach & Ty perform other events and was always blown away. Rachel has a beautiful voice and Ty plays the guitar with such talent. I knew I wanted them play for an event I was planning, which was my daughter’s 1st birthday party. They were wonderful to work with and made my daughter’s party extra special. Our guest were entertained and they played all the favorites. I plan to book with them in the future and would recommend them to all.
I heard Rachel and Ty play at a local bar/restaurant and just had to book them for my daughters bridal shower held last weekend. Instead of the traditional shower we had a wedding pre-game/tailgate theme. Rachel and Ty added just the right vibe and mix to make it fun and help create so many special memories. We received tons of compliments from our guests!! Rachel and Ty are definitely tops on our list for our next event. They do not disappoint!!

Rach and Ty are absolutely AMAZING. We booked them for a 30th birthday party and they exceeded all my expectations. Upon booking them, they provided a huge list of songs and we were able to pick what we wanted to hear at the party. We selected 15+ songs and had them perform whatever else fit the vibe. All the guest loved them and many have asked for their contact information for future events. They were super easy to work with & very responsive if we had any questions leading up to the party. We could not recommend Rach & Ty enough !!! Do yourself a favor and BOOK them for your event, you won’t regret it!!!!
When our original band had to back out due to the flu, Rachel & Ty stepped in with only a 24 hour notice and crushed it! They were professional, kind & so friendly to work with. It was pleasure having them perform at our company's Christmas party. We received so many compliments on their performance & variety of song choices. Rachel and Ty were fantastic at our conference last week. From their terrific rendition of "Painted Black" to their soulful version of "Purple Rain" and everything in between, each song sounded better than the last. I honestly don't know who I enjoyed listening to more: Rachel singing like she should win American Idol or Ty just killing the guitar. We'll most definitely have them back next year!

We invited Rachel and Tyler to our university for a live music night. They absolutely killed it, they worked the crowd really well and provided excellent quality of music. It was fun energetic and our students loved them. They were welcoming and had great dance moves. Loved Tyler's guitar solos and Rachels voice was amazing. They were great and I would love to have them come back to our campus. They played relevant songs and killed the cover songs. Thanks for coming!

We provide our own equipment! We just need access to an outlet. For outdoor events, we ask that are we are not expected to play on grass. We also ask for ample overhead coverage in case of inclement weather.
(In the event that our set-up space is on grass, we ask that you provide some type of platform or plywood).
