Rachel brought to life God’s Word and pointed us all back to Jesus in the end. At one point, I looked across the room and saw ladies laughing and then crying. Her story helped to tear down walls that people were holding onto and allowed them to be ripe before the Lord. My only regret was that Rachel did not live closer because I know she would be my best friend and go-to girl! Rachel is absolutely a joy! From the moment we met her, until the day she left, she just shines for Jesus! She has been given such a gift from Christ of pouring into women by her teaching and exhorting. Our event we hosted had women from all walks of life, and her rock solid teaching was able to speak such encouragement to all the ladies who attended, we were blessed beyond words. Her passion for the Lord is so evident, she is a walking and talking example of a Christ follower. Rachel was amazing to work with throughout both the planning and implementation of our church's first Women's Retreat. We already have ladies requesting this to be an annual event, and many have shared stories of how the Lord used Rachel to guide them in their next steps of life. I truly believe Rachel's willingness to obediently share her heart story with our group will be used by God to raise up a whole new level of prayer warriors for Him. May we stop walking in fear and anxiety, and instead PRAY before SLAY!
