Radical Henna Artist

For events, I arrive to the venue and have a designated space where people can get their henna done. When guests come to get their henna done, I present photos of designs they can choose from. A simple henna design would take 4-6 minutes depending on size and intricacy. I confirm these details with the client before I arrive to the appointment. I can do 10-15 simple designs per hour depending on design size and intricacy. After I am done, I tell the guest how to take care of their henna.

For bridal bookings, I have a call before the booking confirming all details around the design. I arrive to the location provided and get started on the bridal design. The client and I both know how long it will take. After the design is complete, I tell the client how to take care of their henna and the next steps.

Shahrin has always been rooted in her Bengali culture. She grew up watching natoks, wearing sarees, and always having henna on her hands. From a young age, she would see her cousins using toothpicks and applying henna during Eid.
Having henna applied by her mother-in-law during her wedding was some of her most beautiful memories. She understands how henna can bring joy to any occasion and she appreciates its history and use as body art.
