The unique band is comprised of elite musicians from across the Bay Area, specializing in one-of-a-kind interpretations of classic hits spanning a century. Splurging on Radio Gatsby for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made.
During the wedding planning process, Noam worked closely with us to make the best music choices that reflected our tastes and that would sound great.
At the reception, they sounded fantastic. From start to finish the dance floor was filled with our usually reserved friends and family! After the wedding, so many people came up to us and commented on how amazing they were, and how much energy they infused into the reception. Everyone was of the opinion that this was head-and-shoulders better than any DJ.
We also very much appreciated that they did the sound for our ceremony. In addition to having the audio work flawlessly, the piano player did a wonderful job setting the emotional scene for us.
All in all, we could not have had a better experience. Thank you Radio Gatsby for helping us celebrate!
Wedding Band
We hired Radio Gatsby for a corporate awards dinner. Their blend of modern songs in the jazz standard style was the perfect fit. Noam was such a pleasure to work with, professional, flexible, and creative. He was interested in the goals of the event so the band could deliver the right show for our client. Even when things changed the day of and during the show, he and the entire band never got flustered. Cannot recommend Noam and Radio Gatsby more for any event.

Radio Gatsby played at my 70th birthday party. From the beginning, Noam was attentive and always receptive to our ideas. We were able to choose songs from their extensive set list and added a couple of requests. The mission for the party was to have excellent music which would get people dancing. The evening started with jazz for cocktails and dinner, a perfect combination of songs which allowed guests to get settled in. When the dance party started, the music built throughout the night to the point that everyone was on the dance floor. The music exceeded our expectations, and everyone said how great Radio Gatsby sounded. They allowed me to sit in with them on drums for two songs which was an honor and incredibly fun. Working with Radio Gatsby was a dream. They were super communicative and direct. They have excellent taste in music and know how to get guests entertained and on the dance floor. They also provided crucial technical support (speakers, microphones, MCing) and were very smooth in their setup and tear down of all their equipment. Super-professional, adaptable, great to work with. Noam was terrific to suggest music, themes, organization. They were comfortable playing a range of music. The band and vocalist were first-rate. They made our wedding ceremony and party very memorable. We would definitely work with them again, and recommend them without reservation.

Radio Gatsby are professionals in every sense of the word. First things first, they are phenomenal musicians. So many of our guests can't stop telling us how great they were.
Not only did they sound fantastic, but they chose the right songs that kept people on the dance floor all night long -- and that's saying a lot given we are millennials and our guests ranged from children to 70-somethings!
We are especially appreciative that, even though they have a huge, diverse repertoire, they learned, and went above and beyond in performing, our first dance song. It was magical.
Second of all, not only are they professional in a musical sense, Noam, the bandleader/ point person, was so incredible to work with in the planning process. He always responded in a timely manner, made sure to get all the details he needed about our event (even giving us ideas and valuable advice along the way), and was just super, super nice. The ease of working with Noam took so much weight off our shoulders during a time that easily could have been stressful with a less experienced or communicative vendor. Every time we ended a call with him we felt excitement and peace of mind. Even more, we really felt like he "got" what we wanted, and the payoff at the actual wedding only confirmed that.
In short, do yourself a favor and hire Radio Gatsby.

We LOVED working with Radio Gatsby for our 300+ person cocktail reception. They were so professional and engaging. We had a group of corporate professionals and they were up dancing by the end and giving requests! Radio Gatsby is so talented and easy to work with. 100% recommend.

Radio Gatsby played my 50th birthday celebration and they were amazing. From the initial contact through the day of the show, Noam was amazingly professional with top-notch communication. As far as the performance goes, it was fantastic. We had about 70 guests and all they could talk about during and after the show was how great the band was and how much fun they had!!

PHENOMENAL! 5 stars is not enough!! Radio Gatsby played at our outdoor wedding this summer and we were truly so happy with their performance and all the other aspects including: above and beyond communication ahead of time, MCing, and DJing. They really took the time to listen to what we were looking for and truly delivered a perfect evening tailored to us. Their repertoire is great, they even played a song in French.
The music and dancing were a top priority for our celebration and we could not be happier with the whole band! We loved that they mixed in their unique covers of known songs with more classic arrangements to meet the vibe of the crowd and get everyone dancing!!! The singers and musicians are all so talented and clearly passionate. Many friends and family commented during and after the event on how much they loved the band. My father in law said he’s never danced so much in his life. 10/10 cannot recommend them enough!

I can say with all honestly, Radio Gatsby was a large part in making our kids’ elementary school’s recent Gatsby Gala themed auction the roaring success that it was! Not only did Radio Gatsby’s seven-piece band add an unexpected and fun flair to the evening, but they also set the mood for the entire event and created the most perfect vibe! I cannot thank Radio Gatsby enough for their advice, great communication, and time planning during our event. From the start of the cocktail hour, Radio Gatsby set the tone for the evening getting guests in the mood for an evening of fun and fundraising. As the evening progressed, Radio Gatsby seamlessly upped the tempo of their music and got guests in the spirit of bidding for our live auction. All the band members were professional and courteous, and even more so, appreciative of our collaboration. The band was very attentive to our needs and expertly cleared and re-set their equipment before and after our live auction, which also took place on our stage. At the conclusion of our live auction, Radio Gatsby instantly had every guest on their feet dancing the night away and singing along to popular hits with that special Radio Gatsby twist! As the co-chair of the evening, there was nothing more satisfying then hearing our guests chanting “encore encore!” at the conclusion of the band’s last set. Noam and Radio Gatsby were a pleasure to work with from our very first communication to our last. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to hire Radio Gatsby for a future event. I can't say enough good things about this band. I've seen them twice and once was at my own wedding! We love them so much. They are super easy to work with, have a great sound, and are simply the most versatile musicians I have ever encountered. They can go from the 20s to the 40s to contemporary hits and can even mash all that up into the same song - it's wild and just so much fun! Can't wait until they play again so we can see them again.

Radio Gatsby, whoa! This is blues, jazz, funk, soul, rock, rap- you name it it's there and it's danceable, all with the vibe and flare of a vintage 1920's swing dance party. Walking into the room I heard the blast of trumpet and was instantly transported. This band somehow manages to bridge 10 decades of musical genres. Combining many different styles into a single song and mashing into the next, and the next...As a musician myself it's pretty astounding how smoothly they do it. I'm already planning ahead to my next big bash. There is literally something for everyone. My friends and I had a blast and we ALL danced:). You feel like you're being carried down this river by the charisma, musical range and heart thumping power of what's coming off the stage. Meanwhile the rock steady beat of the roaring 20s is this steady undercurrent keeping you moving and tapping your toe. Trumpet, sax, clarinet, keys, bass, drums, vocals- all incredible and tightly knit. This was hands-down the best dance party I've been to. I'm excited to hear more from this newbie band in town!

Radio Gatsby is an exciting new San Francisco-based dance band that performs blended arrangements of 1920s & Speakeasy Jazz, mid-century R&B, and Contemporary Pop music!
This musical explosion is a new collaboration between keyboardist Noam Eisen (Vinyl Kings, Cosmo Alleycats), and veteran trumpeter, singer, guitarist and percussionist Rich Armstrong (Boz Scaggs, Tony!
