We were part of planning for a 50th birthday party and selected Dave and Raising the Bar Entertainment for some karaoke and music to dance to.
It was a total hit. Dave is an absolute pro. He emcee’d the event beautifully, recorded the event and took a few photos - going above and beyond our expectations. Dave knows how to work the crowd and help keep them on the dance door. He even arrived an hour and a half earlier than planned to set up before dinner began.
Dave, thank you for a job well done. We will keep you in mind for future events!
Come for the casino tables, stay for the DJ! We had 2 black jack tables, a roulette and craps table. It was a blast!!!! David also does DJing I’m already booking him for my next. Incredible job Guyana tank you so much for making my party the talk of the town!

Although David was late by no fault of his own there was terrible traffic that day he was great and entertaining. He knew just what music to play for my guests. He even gave me a discount for being late.
Reasonable, great song selection and has a good crowd vibe. I only wish we could've convinced him to stay longer!

I had a 13th birthday party for my daughter. We had 17 girls and they all had a blast. He viewed the party at ever moment and made adjustments if it was music, karaoke or cutting the cake. He was extremely professional and knew how to handle all situations. I would recommend him for any kids party or adult party. He has great ideas for other events, adult party's, set up including lighting and fog machines. He has many options to choose from and can help you plan any party at any age. We will definitely use him again. Most importantly, he is someone that you can trust. I could not be happier. Thanks for making the party amazing.

What a great night! - RTB arrived on time, got set up quickly and efficiently and got us all in the party mood from the get-go with a really well judged playlist that was perfect, considering the 15 - 80 year age range of the guests.
We gave some general guidelines about the kind of music we wanted, including some special family favourites and David managed not only to track them all down but seemed to know exactly when to play each track without any prompting.
The whole mood was perfectly judged throughout the evening and the segues from music to karaoke and back were seamless.
We had been concerned about booking an unknown DJ off the internet but David turned out to be a huge plus for our party - All in all Highly Recommended!

I celebrated my birthday at a Raising the Bar karaoke night at a local restaurant, and everything was perfect! I go to a lot of karaoke spots and none have the huge selection that Raising the Bar has. The KJ was upbeat and friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. When my friend told him it was my birthday, he quickly pulled a picture from my public Facebook photos and put up a birthday greeting on the screen. The sound was clean and his equipment was obviously high quality. Overall he was entertaining, professional, and charming.

With Raising The Bar Entertainment, You can expect a pre event consultation, Confirmation call the day before your event. We arrive at least two hours prior to your event dressed appropriately. We then set up the gear and make sure that all wires are secured and not visible. During the performance we will treat you and your guests with the utmost of respect and get the event rolling. Our extensive library will ensure that most if not all of you and your guests requests are taken care of. After the performance, we will remove our gear and return the performance area to its original condition.
