Ram and Ian have you covered for wedding venues to restaurants to bars to everything in-between.

For restaurants and bars, Ram and Ian can play 2-3 hour sets of light rock, folk, reggae, blues, and more interlaced with close vocal harmonies, expressive piano and guitar improvisations, and modern vocal inflections/twists on your classic hits!

For wedding venues, Ram and Ian can play for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and anything else that you need. They have designed a well-thought-out contract that addresses all of your logistical concerns and needs to make your special day even more amazing! Ram and Ian are currently a part of the WeddingWire service and are constantly in touch with couples as they move closer to their special day--they pride themselves on being flexible, communicative, and exciting.

Whatever venue they take on, Ram and Ian always inject their own musical energy and personal flare that keeps every performance new and invigorating!

Ram & Ian is a piano-guitar wedding and cover band duo based out of Hartford, CT.

Ram and Ian first met as college freshman on a Zoom call during the height of the Covid pandemic. Ian spotted that Ram was wearing a neighboring high school's merch, and the two quickly discovered that they live only minutes apart! How the two ended up on the same floor at the same university nobody knows. Might just be a one in a million moment. At the time, Ian was playing in a larger band with some of his high school friends, and they so happened to be looking for a keyboard player, and Ram fit the bill. The full band never ended up performing together, but Ram and Ian jammed in Ian's dorm room almost every day of the semester. From there the Coffee House series was born and so too was Ram & Ian.

Folk, light-rock, reggae, soul, pop, and more are all part of their set and shaped by the energy Ram and Ian bounce off one another.

Both Ram and Ian are pursuing classical music degrees and perform in venues outside of their contemporary gigging environment. Ian often performs in operatic roles as a baritone, Ram often performs in choral settings as a tenor. The two attribute their flowing play style to the love of storytelling and expressive freedom that transcends genres. Whether it be Billy Joel or Don Giovanni, Ram and Ian always give their all!

Ram and Ian cover mics, setup for instruments, speakers, stands, and music for the duo. This can double as a PA system for wedding venues. Outdoor venues require external power and shelter from weather.
