Raquel performs oriental belly dance for your special event, family party, and other celebrations. Her specialties include balancing 2 swords on her head, a tray of candles balancing show, and the classical finger cymbals. Raquel can also interact with and teach your guests and audience some dance moves.
Raquel did an amazing job. We hired her to perform at my Mother’s 60th Birthday Party. She communicated with me before the event to get our vision for that day. Raquel arrived on time. Although we were a little behind on schedule then originally discussed with Raquel to start her show, she was very accommodating and patient with my family! We absolutely loved everything about her performance especially the addition of the sword!

We had Raquel come to a retirement party we were having for our uncle. Raquel arrived on time with everything she needed for a great performance. She was delightful, her dancing was very tasteful and so perfect for our crowd. You see, we had young kids there too. She engaged everyone perfectly from my 86 year old uncle to my 4 year old grandson. It was a great experience and she did a great job. Just a little note, after she said good bye to everyone and left, my grandson wanted to know "where did that awesome girl go". He had a great time.

Raquel was the highlight of my friend's 40th birthday party! She was very professional, talented and looked beautiful. Raquel typically performs a 20-30 minutes show, which is approximately 5-7 songs, that highlight all her specialties. You can plan with Raquel to make the show a surprise if you'd like. You can also ask that Raquel participate with the audience to get them up dancing. Raquel may need an area to change into her costume when she arrives at your event. If you do not have access to a sound system, please ask Raquel about this prior to the event. Tipping is allowed, yet Raquel will expect that all guests are respectful.
Raquel has been performing in the Boston and New England area for several years. She specializes in Egyptian and Lebanese style belly dance. Specialties include balancing 2 swords on her head, and also a tray of candles. Raquel also performs saidi cane dances, veil dances, and can perform with finger cymbals. Raquel has traveled extensively in the Middle East, including Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon and Syria.
A sound system is essential, so please make sure to discuss this with Raquel prior to the event. If your event will be outside, please discuss these details as well.
