Rebell Entertainment is a DJ and Event Entertainment company and we have been providing reliable and quality service to the New York, New Jersey and Tri-State area since 1998. Since every event is different we do not do pre-made party packages, instead we like to give our clients the opportunity to customize their package based on their vision, budget and requirements. Whether you are planning a wedding, sweet sixteen, corporate event, school function, mitzvah or birthday party we can provide music and entertainment to make your event a fun, successful and memorable experience to remember.

I cannot recommend Rebell Entertainment highly enough! We first hired them for a DJ service at our public charter school in Brooklyn, NY, and the experience was so exceptional that we immediately contracted them for the rest of the year's events.
From start to finish, Rebell Entertainment was a pleasure to work with. Their DJ services were top-notch—professional, energetic, and perfectly tuned to the vibe of our school events. But they didn’t stop there. For our subsequent events, they added an extra layer of excitement with their engaging karaoke setup, which was a massive hit with students, staff, and parents alike. Rebell Entertainment showed up Sunday night for my wedding and put on a show! He was professional, kind, friendly and organized. Setting up the nights music & playlist was simple and stress free. Speaking with Damion was easy and it was like talking to a long time friend. My wife & I gave him one job & he over delivered! We wanted people up dancing at our wedding and he did that with ease and then some. Even my 65 year old father groovin’! For all of my future events he will be our go to DJ! Both my wife & I are extremely happy with his service & performance. The MC, Jesse who he brought along also gave it his all and it showed in everyone’s mood! Don’t think twice about booking Rebell Entertainment!!

We hired Damion for our wedding and filled out his paperwork, we especially pressed several important songs and moments that were to happen and he failed them all. He was supposed to MC the event but had to be pushed to do any announcing, during introductions he failed to announce people at the right time, during the ceremony he played the brides music for the bridal party. We were in a remote place and he was warned to download all music provided he failed to do that. All our unique music and requested music was not played. When questioned he thought streaming services would work when we told him they wouldn't. He was supposed to have a second hand which we paid for and tipped for but he didn't bring him, when asked he said that his partner for the day wasn't ready and so he left them behind. He failed to adequately compensate us for his failures. All in all he made our day far harder and more trying then it had to be, when asked afterwards about his thoughts he seemed to want to blame anyone and everyone else and take none of the blame on himself. His equipment especially his microphone system also had issues which caused many of our quests to not hear our wedding ceremony. I would recommend not hiring him if you want anything unique or special!

Thank you for leaving your feedback and your experience about the service I provided. We have already communicated via email days before you leaving your feedback. During our conversations I have sincerely expressed my apologies and have taken responsibility and have held myself accountable for the mishaps that occurred on the day of. Some of which were out of my control.
During our conversation via email, you had also agreed to consider the case closed if I returned (compensated) you for a certain amount of which I did. You then later followed up with an email stating that I should send more money than what we had agreed upon. If not you were going to leave me a negative review on all my platforms. Which you have done so today.
As I have already apologized during our conversation via email. I again want to say I am very sorry for mishaps on the day of. I have taken your criticism with insight and will continue to work on improving my business to make sure an unsatisfactory situation never happens again?
I hired Rebell Entertainment looking for options on internet, I’m SO GLAD I found it; Damion was super profesional since the 1st moment, I didn’t worried about the music at the Quinceañera Party for my daughter, Damion picked the right tunes and the kids were more than excited and literally danced non-stop !.
Totally recommended: 10 out of 10!!.

Rebell Entertainment was an excellent addition to my 40th Birthday. Damion’s communication and knowledge of his craft was comforting when planning a milestone birthday. He was prompt to set up his equipment and ready prior to the party. Damion was nicely dressed and interacted kindly with my guests. Cannot say enough things about DJ Rebell! Our wedding was seriously made the party of the century by him and his crew! He brought the fire with nonstop music, lighting, and overall energy. Everyone of all ages was totally happy with the music selection— there wasn’t anyone not up and dancing. He was extremely professional and communicative the entire time leading up to our wedding and it made working with him a true joy. Recommending him to any friends needing a DJ in the future!

We recently hired Rebell Entertainment just last month (Sept 2021) for a big birthday celebration. From start to finish, Rebell was professional and attentive and went above and beyond to make the night memorable for my Mom's 70th. He was so responsive to all our planning calls, assembled the perfect playlist with a range of genres for our mixed crowd, and had everyone on the dance floor. Great guy, and we hope to safely host a party again so we can have him back!

I met Rebel over a decade ago when he was spinning at a Sunday brunch. I have yet to encounter a DJ so skilled at reading the crowd, and smoothly transitioning from one song to another. I have followed him since. My friends joined me at one spot, and that night decided that if they ever get married he’s going to be their DJ. He played their wedding some time later, and it was amazing. He provided lighting and whatever effects the bride wanted. The guests ranging in age from 30-70 and coming from all different backgrounds, were dancing all night long. Deej took the time to source different types of music, from all genres and languages, to give every single person a chance to dance to something they love. The guests of the hotel where the wedding took place were dancing on their balconies. I know a lot of DJ’s but very few who truly cater to the crowd, and have the ear and the skill to transition from song to song, genre to genre.
