Shellie Taylor
Shellie Taylor has been gracing the local music scene with her unique and talented voice for about 10 years playing at local pubs and many of the infamous Ribfests.
Shellie fell in love with the spotlight at the age of 3, singing to the people in her Toronto neighborhood where she grew up. Shellie sang in as many school musicals as possible as a child.
Shellie credits one of her BFF’s for the reason she returned to singing and performing. Out for a night of live music in 2004, a bunch of people went to see her friend’s brother’s band, ‘Face First’. ‘Someone’ got word to the band that Shellie loved to sing…and so it began.
Shellie got up and sang Sheryl Crow’s “First Cut is the Deepest”. It was her first time singing with a full band, she’s been gigging ever since! Karaoke shows, acoustic shows, full bands, and jam nights!
Musical influences include her Dad, who was always the guitar player at all the family campfires and crazy cousin kitchen parties, her acoustic player and friend Bernie, Stevie Nicks, Grace Potter, Elvis, Melissa Etheridge, Allanah Myles, Robert Plant, coach and old friend Mr. Dave Perry, and every single musician she has ever had the pleasure playing with.
Jeff Vidov
The latest member to join Recovery Mode, Jeff is an accomplished musician, classically trained and was a member of Bon Jovi Forever for 5 years.
Jeff Pearson
Jeff has been hooked on music since the womb and is an avid composer of many genres from classical to heavy rock – and sometimes even blending the two. A self-taught student, he has been playing guitar and singing for over 20 years and has recently released a CD entitled Decade on iTunes.
Dave Saloranta
Dave is also a member of Octane and has been performing in numerous cover bands including a Pink Floyd tribute act. With over three decades of drumming experience, his seasoned contribution adds a solid and tasteful foundation to the band.
Keith Carcasole
Keith has been performing in both original and cover bands since 1980 and has played just about everything from hard-core punk to country music. His claims to fame include playing gigs at Molson Park and the Boulevand Club. Keith recently played in Octane (one of Toronto’s oldest punk bands).
