Red Dirt Renegade

A well rehearsed, well dressed, professional Outlaw Country band with elements of Southern rock and roots rock thrown in to keep the audience on their toes. We have played on very large stages and at intimate club shows.

We are a 5 piece band that features 3 part harmony vocals, a Southern Iowa born and bred lead vocalist, and a Bluegrass Hall of Fame member on pedal steel guitar. On lead Electric guitar is our bandleader and rounding out the band is a veteran rhythm section on bass and drums.

Red Dirt Renegade or as our fans refer to us "RDR" is a hard hitting all Iowan Outlaw Country band that performs music by Cody Jinks, Waylon Jennings, Jamey Johnson, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Turnpike Troubadours, Johnny Cash, etc. Comprised of some of the finest musicians in our great state we feature a true Southern Iowa born and raised lead vocalist, a Bluegrass Hall of Fame multi instrumentalist (dobro, lap steel, pedal steel and banjo), The Tycoon of Twang on lead electric guitar and Iowa's best rhythm section on bass and drums. We are professional band with years of stage experience, high end equipment and a pure passion for live performance. RDR considers all venues we play as a partnership and we always do our part to ensure success plain and simple.

We will provide all lighting and sound equipment for our show. We ask that the venue provide the stage and getting the well grounded electrical service to us.
