What to Expect
Redhead Darling brings their unique spin an an eclectic mix of original and cover songs in a country-pop-Americana-blues-rock-whatever style.
With a dark sense of humor and select double entendres, the songs collectively explore the themes, of Sinning, Drinking, Gambling, Lying, Cheating, Lying about Cheating, and all manner of depravity and general bad behavior. Between the original songs and classics from several eras of music, Redhead Darling hopes to entertain as well as bring an understanding that we are all broken people on some level.
About
Redhead Darling was initially formed in Los Angeles, CA in 2012 by guitarist Andy B. as an outlet to perform his original songs and a select mix of country-Americana flavored songs. The band went through several personal changes throughout the years.
In June 2023, Andy B. moved to Portland, Oregon with a pocket full of songs and time to focus on performing them.
Scarlett Nichols met Andy B. and the two of them set about building a musical partnership by building catalog of songs they individually loved. As they performed around Portland, they sought to recruit other musicians. Frustrated in this endeavor, the created bassist Calamity Sammi from some spare parts.
As a trio, the group has been refining what they do and are preparing to record a series of songs for public consumption.
