Overview
Hi there! My name is Reid Jarvis and I'm a singer-songwriter based in Salt Lake City. I play covers and/or originals spanning any genre and can seamlessly blend into the atmosphere of any event you're having. I perform as a solo singing guitarist, in a duo/trio, or with a full band for larger performances. I love taking requests as well!

Reid was very professional, arrived early and set everything up by himself. The music was amazing and he has an incredible voice. He was very communicative and easy to work with. I would highly recommend him!

I recently did a gig with Reid as his lead guitarist and it was the first time I met and played with him. Needless to say, he is great!! Very talented, super professional, very easy to work with, and overall just a really good dude! I not only recommend him for anyone's event, I also can truly vouch for him as a gigging professional myself and say he's a blast to work with!

Thanks for booking and for the review! I really appreciate it, Jeff!
Reid was referred to me by a friend where we hired him to play for an event of about 75 people.
Incredibly talented and relevant to the group attending. Very prompt and flexible to our requests while playing a lot of his own music and covers. I have seen Reid at a small intimate affair and larger events. Very entertaining on both stages!

What to Expect
I can cover just about any artist or genre. I like to take popular songs from all genres and put my own spin on them. I also enjoy playing my originals if that is something your event would be interested in hearing. I perform solo, but if you're looking for a bigger sound, I also perform with a top-notch band of professional musicians. This can take the form of an acoustic guitar duo, or a full band depending on your event's needs. Audiences of all ages and backgrounds will enjoy my performances, as I play something for just about everyone and I'm always open to requests. I'm also prepared to match the atmosphere of whatever event you're having. If you want light, background music that doesn't overpower an event, I'm more than capable of accommodating. Conversely, if a gig calls for a louder, more upbeat performance, I'm happy to crank up the sound. Essentially, I'm willing and able to match the vibe of whatever event you're planning!
Additional Booking Notes
I have all the necessary sound equipment covered. I typically like to arrive around 45 minutes before a gig starts for solo performances, and around an hour for a full band. This allows for plenty of time to get all the levels dialed in before a performance. If you'd prefer I use an in-house sound system, I'm open to that. However, for most gigs, I handle all the technical stuff myself. This makes it easier for everyone involved. It gives you one less thing to worry about. Just give me an outlet and I'm good to go!
