Lori McDowell, PhD is CEO of Reimagine U Strategies and the author of The Reinvention Mindset. She is a life and mindset coach certified as an NLP Practitioner, Root Cause Coaching Practitioner, and Quantum Energy Release Coach. Lori is a TEDx Speaker and has competed in Speaker Slam and Unicorn Talks. Storytelling is one of Lori's main modes of communication and her stories are both valuable and compelling.

Lori is passionate about helping individuals find joy, fulfillment, and success in business and life. Lori helps individuals get past roadblocks and find fulfillment in their careers and their lives. She teaches them that they have a choice in the direction of their life and it is never too late to make a change. Love and caring are the cornerstones of Lori’s business. Lori is also an adventurer and leads adventure coaching retreats and one-day events.

As a speaker, Lori shares her story of how she was able to reinvent herself after a horrendous firing, by tapping into her belief that we can’t control what happens to us but we have a choice in what we do with it. She believes that we are all exactly where we are meant to be. Leaning into that idea is a recipe for success. Facing her fears allowed her to live the life she was destined for. She is able to connect with people at all times in their lives and help them realize that they are exactly where they are meant to be and they have the power to live the life they desire.
Her book, The Reinvention Mindset, takes the reader on a journey of overcoming roadblocks to discovering a life full of joy. She enjoys reading from the book and sharing stories of triumph.

Lori is also the owner of Schooley Mitchell of Houston, where she is a business optimization specialist and business coach. She also spent over thirty years working in the energy industry and can speak on technical topics, leadership development topics and diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.

Lori is very flexible and has given talks for groups of as small as five to as large as five hundred. She has spoken in church basements and large venues and everything in between.
