Remnants Tear Ministries International

I function as the Holy Spirit leads and I also speak with the pastor of a church before the day of ministry. I usually will start with a time of praise and worship that will allow me to share my testimony. I then let the Holy Spirit lead in the organization of the service. I will take the time to share from the scripture and then if the Spirit is leading that way, I will go back to some music and then bring the service down to a place where I will have an altar time. During that time I will allow the Holy Spirit to speak through me and use me to minister to the individual needs. I will then hand the service back to the pastor.

Remnants Tear Ministries International is a multi-faceted ministry that was established in 1988 in Melrose Park, Illinois. Randy Simmons had felt the pulling of the Holy Spirit to begin working in the evangelistic field for many years but it wasn’t until that day in 1988 that he was sure of the timing. Over the next few years, Randy began working in the surrounding area and doing music and ministry on the weekends. His ministry began to grow and many lives were changed through the power of God.
In 19991 Randy traveled with his family to southern Missouri and once again began to work on building his ministry. The road was hard and dry. The Bible belt was not very receptive to evangelistic ministries and the doors seemed to all be closed. This was also a spiritually hard time as Randy began to battle many other issues. He felt the leading of the Lord to put the ministry on hold for a time as he began to work on his own personal battles and building his family.
In 2005, after traveling to Wisonsin, Randy found himself face to face with the hardest times in his life. The ministry had been in stasis for almost ten years and he was sure that his struggles with addiction were going to destroy any chance he had of restoring the call on his life. But God had other plans. Randy had to face the truth about his own life and that his current marriage was falling apart. His battles with sexual addiction had taken their toll on his marriage and on his own emotional well being. He found a refuge in his older brother who offered him a place to heal and restore his marriage. However, the enemy wanted to stop what God wanted to do in his life.
In 2006, Randy was broken as he was handed the divorce papers for his eighteen year marriage. He fell upon his face and had to call out to God. Over the next five years God worked upon this man and brought healing and restoration. Although his marriage was not able to reconcile, Randy found that God was truly a God who restores the broken.
In 2011, Randy met and married his current wife who serves the Lord with joy at his side. They have brought their own personal life into their ministry and have used it to speak to the real pains and hurts that people have. Glynnis understands the hurt of a broken home and abusive life. She too has gone through much hurt and healing in her past marriage and understands the frustration that comes with being a single mother.

Together Randy and Glynnis make up the RTMI ministry team and believe that God has called them to bring the healing power of the Holy Spirit back into the church body. Through music, teaching, preaching, comedy, story-telling and one-to-one ministry, they believe that God will usher in a powerful outpouring of His Spirit. Over the past thirty plus years of ministry experience, we have seen many moves of God upon the church and feel that there is coming a new and fresh move of God on the body of Christ.

I will be providing a sound system if needed and lighting. I usually do not need much because I will come with my guitar and myself.
