We are Rent Party, a swing guitar duo from Toronto, Ontario that plays songs from the American Song Book with an emphasis on fun. Rent Party brings forgotten gems from the Golden Age of Swing to all of our fans living right here in the 21st century.

Our performance is one of delight and recognition. The tunes we play are familiar to old and young whether they know the actual titles or not. We aren't just a jazz duo. We are two characters - Desi and Flip. We are jive talkin' jazz men with a sense of hipness without the seriousness. Our act is energetic and danceable. We are family-friendly and have fans as young at 3 and as old as 93. It's impossible to leave one of our performances without a smile on your face and a tune in your heart. Our repertoire is complex enough for the serious jazz fan and groovy enough for the average listener. We can play with or without amplification, rain or shine, in senior homes or downtown bars.
We are an acoustic act with minimum setup needs - Two vocal microphones and two line-in channels for guitars. We would appreciate a space for merch sales.
