Retreat Speaking

I am a speaker that values the whole person. I excel at connecting Biblical truth to our minds, bodies, and souls. I strongly believe that truth applies in the highs, the lows, and the everyday moments in between. If you hire me, you should expect emotionally intelligent content that connects the head knowledge to the heart. I have a passion for helping lifelong Christians and grown-up church kids walk through the messy moments of life when the Sunday school answers fall short. I have graduated from Bible school and have a strong understanding of exegesis and hermeneutics, so even for topical workshops, you should expect Scripture to be used in context with a depth of understanding about its original intent. I am not a loud or flashy speaker, but I believe that life is more than mountaintop experiences, so I will provide your audience with practical ways to apply what they've learned in everyday life.

Kayla Andersen is a writer, blogger, and speaker based out of Illinois. She has a passion for encouraging believers as they navigate the nuances of faith in a messy world. She received an education in Bible and theology at Moody Bible Institute, where she graduated with a B.A. in Communications. Kayla has been invited to speak at events across the midwest, including appearances on international television programs and national radio shows. Please discuss stage setup and room layout prior to the event. A microphone is preferred unless the audience is less than 15 people. If a microphone is in use, please provide a sound guy/audio engineer to adjust levels and set up tech prior to the event. If audio-visual equipment (projector, screen, etc) is in use, please provide a tech person who can set up, troubleshoot, and is knowledgeable about the equipment. I am not able to troubleshoot your equipment during the event, and a broken microphone or projector can be quite distracting to the attendees.
