Solo guitarist/vocalist offering instrumentals and lyric songs blended in a variety of music. Over 45 years performance experience in a variety of venues. Instrumental playlist is usually a potpourri of classical, Spanish classical and flamenco, light jazz, and some blues. Vocal playlist draws primarily from "old time" folk, western, and country and some 30's and 40's standards. No pop/rock or "current" pop/country. Will do special requests, but need enough lead time to learn the music.
Will travel anywhere beyond "travel distance" range for base rate plus expenses.
Richard performed during a party we hosted and was wonderful. Very professional and also friendly. He arrived early to set up and was so easy to work with. His performance was perfect for our group. We'll absolutely call him next time we're in Santa Fe!
Richard did a wonderful job!
Richard provided exactly what we were looking for. Great music despite the "breeze" which visited. Everyone complimented us on our musician.
We enjoyed Richard very much. He was easy to work with and put a lot of thought into the pieces he picked for our location, which helped so much with the ambiance of our event. He was aware of acoustics and the guests. I would hire him again.
Response from Richard Hannemann:
Thank you -- I thoroughly enjoyed the event -- neat concept -- and hope we can work together again in future.

For small room/audience gigs I can often play "au natural" but I do have a small amp as needed. I have microphones and guitar pick up.
For large rooms/stages/audience I would need client provided sound appropriate to the venue.

My song list is primarily influenced by the Kingston Trio -- other influences are Burl Ives, New Christy Minstrels, Roger Miller, Jimmy Webb
My instrumental list is influenced mostly by something that Segovia said, "The guitar is a small orchestra in the hand". You will notice that the play list is fairly varied -- I grew up listening to a wide variety of music -- mostly from the 30's, 40's, and 50's (no Rock) -- and I'm more influenced by the music than any particular "act" per se.
