Richard La Bella

An original indie-folk artist/singer-songwriter style, with an entertaining sense of humor and stories to keep the audience engaged. The music is uplifting and chill with a soulful vocal style. We are a trio made up a lead singer and acoustic guitarist, upright bassist, and percussionist.

Born and raised in New Jersey, La Bella was surrounded by music from a young age. With influences ranging from blues, country, and folk to rock and roll, growing up with the acoustic folk styles of John Prine, Leon Redbone, James Taylor, and more. La Bella has honed a unique sound that is all his own.

La Bella got his start playing in local bars and coffeehouses, and soon caught the attention of fans and industry insiders alike. He released his debut EP album, “Ain’t No Crime," March 11, 2020, followed by twenty-three new singles, and his music quickly gained a following. With its blend of soulful ballads and indie-folk songs, "A Thousand Skies" showcased La Bella's versatility and earned him an Honorable Mention from American Songwriter Magazine.
