Richard Bellman can energize your audience, and add value to their lives and careers!
"The Role of Gratitude in Our Lives: How to Create Abundance and Happiness in Your Life" is replete with great stories that will inspire and entertain your audience. The presentation has great takeaways and call to action that your audience can put into practice right after the presentation!
"Start Here: The Courage to Change Your Life No Matter What Your Age or Circumstance" is a presentation that will create several calls to action for your audience. The talk dismantles our negative self-talk and how to ignore naysayers who discourage us instead of offering encouragement and support. The presentation discusses early starters and late bloomers and how it is never too late to begin a new career or make life-long dreams come true.
Richard Bellman began his teaching career during a Montreal blizzard on a Wednesday night in December 1989. His mother held down two jobs—teaching at a Jewish parochial school by day and English as a Second Language (ESL) for adults at night. Because of the storm, and exhausted from her day job, she asked Richard to substitute for her that night teaching her ESL students.
His first class consisted of eight people from Poland, Romania, Ethiopia, and Russia, who had left their native lands to seek better opportunities for themselves and their families. Blizzard or not, they showed up for class, if just to learn a simple phrase they could practice the following day or a joke they could tell at work to help build camaraderie.
From that moment on, Richard knew he wanted to teach people language skills, concepts, ideas, and theories. He wanted to share what he knew with the world. He wanted to inspire, educate, and lead people. He wanted to help people become better leaders, better team members and, ultimately, better people. He wanted nothing less than to transform lives. And that’s exactly what he’s been doing ever since.
A dedicated student of motivation masters such as Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Dale Carnegie, Earl Nightingale, John Maxwell, Stephen Covey, and Peter Drucker, Richard has transformed 10,000 careers through his presentations and has been educating adults on vocational skills for over 27 years. He also shares 50 years of life experience and personal stories.
Richard is a dedicated long-distance runner who, since the age of sixteen, has completed 41 full marathons(26.2 miles), 65 half marathons (13.1 miles) and over 100 5k (3.1 miles); 10k (6.2 miles); 15k (9.3 miles); and 30k (18.6 miles) runs as well as several biathlons, Olympic triathlons, and ½ Ironman triathlons.
