Professional and classy are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the talented Richie Kaye! The artist took time to plan for our event with me via phone and accommodated special requests. Felt like an instant friend on arrival to our home. Richie has beautiful equipment, from the guitars to his chair! I would hire him to play for the President of The United States (if I were to ever find myself entertaining The President), this is how impressed we were with Richie Kaye! We hired Richie for a 1 hour set to honor our grandparents for their 35th wedding anniversary. Had everyone smiling, dancing, laughing and crying (emotional, happy tears) , such a wonderful, unmatched experience! If you're looking to impress, Richie is your guy.

Richie is much more than just a great singer/entertainer. He is also so full of personality and personal stories that captivated the audience throughout the entire 60-minutes. He was in no rush and did not "watch the clock" as many other performers have done in the past. Instead, he appeared to be "at home" as was very relaxed. He made us feel comfortable in our own home!
I can whole-heartedly recommend Richie.

Richie was AMAZING!! He entertained for our 55+ community and everyone loved the songs as it transported them back to when some memories were created. At the end of the concert the whole room was singing with him. Would highly recommend and we look forward to having him come out again!!

The performance was great and I was very glad to find Mr. Kaye for our Birthday Social. My scheduled entertainer cancelled one week before the event, so I was in a jam. The price was more than my budget, but under the circumstances I had no choice.

Ask questions until you are satisfied this performer and the music is right for you and your event. When looking for a performer: what will I and my guests enjoy listening to? What ambience do I want to create for my guests and do the performers help me achieve this?

I'm self-taught and have performed on television, the stage and in clubs for many years.

The New Old-Timers, my duo of voice/guitar and pedal steel, playing classic country, new original Americana and some jazzy numbers, too.

The fee depends upon the length of the engagement, the number of musicians I hire to accompany me (if any), my travel and lodging expense (if it is more than minimal) and the nature of the function itself.

Indoors: a space large enough for the musicians to play in.
Outdoors: a covered space on flat ground (wood or concrete, rather than grass)
Indoors and Outdoors: At least one A/C outlet within 10 feet of the playing area. We bring all the equipment we need, but if you have a house P/A, we might make use of it.
