We provide both classic Brazilian and Jazz Standards. The Brazilian band plays joyful, uplifting, fun music that everyone LOVES. The jazz band is swinging and highly professional. We always get great reviews for both bands. The Brazilian band is perfect to create an island mood or just a upbeat atmosphere. The jazz band is also perfect for an upbeat atmosphere but also impressive because of the high level of musicianship. It's like bringing a NYC jazz club to your event. Both units are also perfect for any cocktail hour. Your guests will take notice but won't be shouting to chat. We know how to adjust to any situation. We're NEVER too loud. We are reliable/responsible.

Vocalist, Maria Tiscia spent her formative years performing in TV and radio commercials with the late Don Elliot. Through her association with Elliot she had the privilege of working on movie scores and projects for Quincy Jones. She currently performs in the tri-state area with her partner, David Oliver, and many of the best musicians the New York and Connecticut area has to offer. She and her band, RIO BOUND, recently opened for Grammy Award Winner, Dianne Reeves.
Pianist, David Oliver spent many years as a studio musician in Nashville, Tennessee where he performed with Ella Fitzgerald, Brenda Lee, Gladys Knight, etc. He moved to New York City in the 80s where he spent many years as an accompanist and arranger for various cabaret acts. He currently performs in the tri-state area, as well as teaching privately in Greenwich and Westchester.

We know more than 600 Great American Songbook Standards (i.e. most of the songs performed by the greats like Sinatra, Ella, etc.) We also perform Brazilian tunes (i.e. Girl From Ipanema, Look of Love, and deeper Brazilian tunes). We can also throw in pop music (i.e. Carpenters, Disco, etc.) if needed.
We perform both straight ahead jazz and/or Brazilian music.
We've been influenced by ALL of the greats in American jazz and Brazilian jazz.
We have a smooth sound with our Brazilian band from Astrid and Stan Getz to Sergio Mendes & Brazil '66.
We supply our own equipment, but if will need enough electrical outlets.
