Robbie Marx

I can provide music as a soloist or with small ensembles such as a brass quintet or jazz combo. A large variety of music can performed ranging from classical, jazz, rock, pop, and modern music. Repertoire can be selected by either the client or by myself. Professionalism and attention to detail are of the upmost importance!

Robbie Marx is a trumpet player based in Boston Massachusetts. As a versatile musician, Robbie currently plays with the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, Cape Ann symphony, and the TBdT brass band in Somerville. Before moving to Boston, Robbie lived in Rochester NY and Bamberg Germany where he played with German Brass bands throughout Bavaria and founded a folk band in Rochester.

Since moving to Boston, Robbie has regularly played in pit orchestras for musicals, church/religious services, the Harvard Wind Ensemble, MIT Concert Choir Orchestra, as well as parade bands and student recitals at Boston University, Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory. Currently, he is on the piano and brass faculty at the Boston School of Music Arts and teaches brass lessons at Weymouth Public Schools. Robbie received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY and his Masters' of Music from Boston University.
