Robbie Mitchell

Robbie Mitchell is a young up and coming country singer/song writer based out of central Illinois. Robbie grew up in Tennessee and has hit the music scene hard in the last few years playing at many bars and venues such as Boondocks Springfield IL and Major Leagues Taylorville IL as well as the Ashland Festival, the Bethany Town Celebration, and the Pana Tri-County Fair...he has opened for national touring artists like Adam Craig, Matthew Curry, Jake McVey, Nick Sturms, Outshyne, Brushville, Gunner and The Grizzley Boys, and JJ Lawhorn just to name a few. Robbie has played live on radio on 103.7 WDBR Featuring his original "My Best Friend". The one thing he believes in more than anything is staying true to his roots and treating people with the respect he was brought up with. Don't be surprised if you hear a "yes sir" or "yes ma'am" when he's around..."please" and "thank you". His Debut EP "Heartache & Happiness" will be produced and available for purchase and download in 2017. With the support of his family and friends, he has high hopes of making music a life long career. His biggest inspirations are his family. His beautiful companion Sarah Kries is a cancer survivor and a wonderful mother to their adorable daughter Peyton Lynn Mitchell. Robbie's parents have been his biggest fans and supporters since the beginning. His dad Robert Mitchell runs sound and lights for most of his shows as well as helping with bookings, traveling, and everything you can think of, including keeping guitar picks pocketed for his son who has trouble with keeping track of them (laughing). His mother Dixie Mitchell has not only passed the gift of singing down to her son, but in fact can be found performing along side him at many of his shows. She is an amazing singer herself and is Robbie's hero in the music world. There are so many friends and family that have helped Robbie with his music we couldn't possibly list them, however, he knows and remembers everyone of you and thanks you from the bottom of his heart for your continued support.
