I have led worship since 2004, in small groups and church services. I have written several original songs, teach guitar classes, and really enjoy playing.
In 2004 I was called to combat in Iraq and led worship for a year, at a tiny Baghdad chapel, where I wrote my first songs. During my second combat tour in 2008 I led worship at two chapels and for my unit Chaplain. From 2009 until early 2010 I was the worship leader at the Main Post Chapel and got experience working with a full band and small choir.
Now I am the acoustic guitarist at New Life Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA and have begun to focus on composing original songs for my church.
I also enjoy playing for my wife and friends at small backyard gatherings.
