About
Engagements include active performances in many different styles with concentration in improvised composition for live performance. Robert Lee began his piano music ability as a child composing improvisations by ear and was at the age of 8 began touring with a boys choir with church programs and piano lessons. In 1978 he moved to NYC, their he studied classical and jazz piano with Rosemary Sutherland, Julliard School of Music, Gus Mancini, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, jazz and jazz band, classical piano with the late Esther Selinsky, and Jazz Piano with Jazz Pianists Michael Stevens. In 1983 he moved to Dallas, Texas, their he works parties, private events, weddings.

For a ceremony, I will play the Wedding march, Bridal March.
Before the ceremony begins:
I will play and sing songs that are Standard Jazz Show Tunes from the 20's - 70's. I do not sing Rock songs. I am a romantic jazz pianists with songs from Duke Ellington, Jerome Kerns, Ned Washington, Rogers and Hart, Billy Strayhorn, with instrumental songs from any of the above, and including Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Gary Burton, Dave Brubeck etc.
