Vocalist, Robin Avery and the Avery/Banman Project (duo, trio, or multi-piece band) performing everything from current pop hits to jazz standards and more for events, concerts, clubs, and restaurants. Studio recording, production, and song writing service also available.
Unbelievable talent!! Robin and freinds entertained everyone at our party. They played something for everyone and their original music is absolutely great! Real musicians! I'm still getting compliments for their performance
Robin Avery and her group played for our daughter's engagement party in August. She was absolutely fabulous. They were able to play selections from three generations of guests as well as a wide variety of songs from their own repertoire. I can't wait to have another big party so I can hire them again!

About Robin Avery:
". . . she’s performed at numerous city events in South Florida as well as festivals like the Hollywood International Music and Arts Festival, the Abacoa Music And Arts Festival, the Miami International Book Fair, and SunFest, the largest outdoor music festival in South Florida, where she performed as concert opening act for Bruce Hornsby. January 25, 2012 Robin performed at the Broward Center For The Performing Arts in association with Women In Jazz South Florida. Numerous New Years Eves have seen her entertaining at the historic Las Olas Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. Other recent gigs found Robin in concert at Arts At St. John's on Miami Beach, White House/Black Market National Awards Banquet - Fort Myers, the Hollywood Beach Theater, CocoWalk - Coconut Grove, and the Miami Shores Country Club. Robin was also featured performing her original music at the Jazz For Peace event (Fort Lauderdale) in May 2011.
For Robin Avery, vocalist and songwriter, following her dreams has always led to music. A native of Florida, she grew up on Miami Beach. She began at an early age singing and dancing to pop tunes in front of her stereo and when she was 9 wrote her first song and won her first talent contest. From the ages of 11 to 16 she was the lead soloist in her school choir. Having her journey temporarily turned away from the musical path, Robin immersed herself in academia and eventually earned a Ph.D. in psychology. She pursued a career as a neuropsychologist in California, working with stroke victims and patients with head injuries, but never abandoning her musical spirit and passion. Later, returning to South Florida, that same musical passion inspired Robin to begin the pursuit of her lifelong dream to sing, perform, and write songs."
While you may hear echoes of Sade, Marvin Gaye, Carole King, and even Peggy Lee, there can be no mistake that Robin Avery's music and voice are all her own. Her 2008 inspirational single, "Light The Way" was included as part of the TM Jones Hit Disc compilation that also had cuts from superstars Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Natalie Cole, and Dutch sax sensation Candy Dulfer. Sandy Shore of (link hidden) said of Avery’s 2005 album The Way You Hold Me: “slick, crisp production, fresh and cool vocal tunes…create a fantastic listening experience from the beginning to the final track." Radio & Records’ smooth jazz editor Carol Archer adds, “Avery’s a new artist to me - a damned good one, too.”
