Robyn Froese

Robyn Froese (Soul, Folk, Alt Rock) is a Vancouver-based musician and songwriter. Raised in Saskatoon, SK, she started out singing in church beside her mother on the piano. Robyn matured her sound through solo performances and fronting multiple bands over her early adult years. Joinging forces with SquareOne Media to headline a year-long North American tour ((phone number hidden)3) promoting mental health and self-image. From (phone number hidden)8 Robyn fronted the Saskatoon local folk-rock band, Juneau Alaska. After local recognition and a small provincial tour, Juneau Alaska recorded their first self-titled EP. They disbanded as Robyn moved to the west coast to be closer to family and focus on her solo project. Robyn Froese now lives in Vancouver, performing solo or with an amazing backing band as much as possible! She was the winner of the Star Search competition at Summer Set Festival in Fort Langley in 2019, and has since been featured on local and international showcases across the West Coast. Robyn Froese comes alive while performing; she calls you into her world with her commanding voice and invites you to stop and listen with the marriage of conversational lyrics and existential concepts with a soulful undertone. Her passionate yet ethereal voice has drawn comparisons to Florence and the Machine, Tash Sultana, and Lianne La Havas. Robyn Froese will be releasing her debut EP in January 2023.
