Rodeo Twister is a Rockabilly/Country trio in every classic sense of the word. No fuss, no muss. It's all about the songs, the playing and singing. The band's upbeat, catchy original tunes fit right in and hold their own with the choice classics they cover. Oh, and they're lotsa fun.

"We had a huge crowd of everything from 20-something 'hipsters' to families and folks 60+, everybody loved Rodeo Twister! Great songs, playing and harmonies and I wish every band was as pro to deal with as they were. A refreshing sound and quality group! Will have them back for sure!"
Brian Whitcomb - Garage 71 Promoter Hell On Wheels Festival
"Rodeo Twister did not fail to entertain the crowd in their own unique way. No special effects, voice bending electronics, or a drummer that can't keep time to worry about here. This three piece works together to make something bigger than themselves. With apologies to my 2nd grade math teacher Mrs. Hicks, when it comes to riding the Rodeo Twister 1+1+1 does truly equal 4. It doesn't hurt that these guys are total pros and play music for all the right reasons. I can't wait to book them again."
Cullen McClure, Music Director - The Atlanta Arts Festival
"Rodeo Twister is a true pleasure to work with. Professional, easy to work with and accomodating. They're fun and exciting onstage with vocal harmonies sweeter than grandma's fudge. You can't go wrong working with these gentlemen."
Andy Hawley Rev. Andy Presents Promoter HollyFest
Great songs + great playing + great two and three-part harmonies = A great time had by all.
Even though Rodeo Twister prefers to play at least 51% original material, don't let that scare you. The bands' knack for clever songwriting never loses site that most people that attend an event with live music want to have a good time, not listen to the woes of a self-pitying singer-songwriter. What can you expect? To smile then entire time, to dance (or at least feel the urge to) and maybe even chuckle a bit here and there.
You can also expect to not wake up the next morning with your ears a-ringin'. While the band can rock with the best of them, these pros know how to keep the energy up with their playing, not the volume of the P.A.
What not to expect? Cheesy covers. "Bro-country." Self-indulgent excursions into free jazz. Rock Star attitude.
The band is made up of three longtime friends that are all veterans of Atlanta's "Redneck Underground" roots-music scene. While this is a fairly new band, it ain't their first rodeo.
Our promise: no drum solos. (Not that there's anything wrong with them.)
It's just that Rodeo Twister has a deep love for the original, stripped-down sound of early rockabilly and classic country music. If the lack of drums was good enough for the guys that created it, it's good enough for us. It should be noted however that we do make an exception for the use of electricity. (We have also recently lifted our longstanding ban on indoor plumbing.)
With a lineup of electric guitar, acoustic guitar, the slap of an upright bass and a passion and knack for sweet, sweet harmonies, Rodeo Twister makes new, original music with one foot in the past and the other one, both hands and most of the rest of the upper torso right here in the here and now.
About as simple and straightforward as you will find. A provided PA is preferred but we can provide if needed.
If the PA is provided:
• Three vocal mics
• At least two (2) onstage monitors
• D.I. for Acoustic Guitar
• D.I. for Bass Amp
• Mic for Lead Guitar Amp
• A Sound Man (I mean, Person!) is preferred but not mandatory if Soundboard/Mixer is within access of the stage
• Don't need a lightshow but do need at least enough lighting so the band can be seen and the band can see each other
• Fog Machine (Okay, again not mandatory but that would be really cool to have. Fog Machines are just what's been missing in Rockabilly all these years.)

Hmmm, that's a good question. Influenced by a ton of bands and artists but probably the best way to answer this particular question is what other folks can you compare the band to. We'll address this in two different ways:
BANDS MOST FOLKS ARE FAMILIAR WITH:
Elvis (Presley though Costello is right up there with The King to R.T.)
Stray Cats/Brian Setzer
Buddy Holly
Buck Owens
Everly Brothers
Ricky Nelson
BANDS THAT ARE PROBABLY BETTER KNOWN TO FOLKS WITH A LITTLE BIGGER RECORD COLLECTION:
Rockpile/Nick Lowe/Dave Edmunds
Big Sandy & The Fly-Rite Boys
High Noon
Deke Dickerson
NRBQ
Depeche Mode
(Okay, we were kidding about that last one.)
A stage or area to play that'll fit three guys with minimal gear is all we need.
