We booked Roem for our 12th Annual Executive Forum at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay. Roem is great and works very well with changes. Our event had a very last minute location change due to weather conditions and Roem was able to go with the flow. You can imagine how overwhelming last minute changes can be for a big corporate event but Roem was able to work with the changes and get everything going with limited directions! Roem also arrived very prompt and is easy going. We are very pleased with his performance and we had a lot of positive feedback from our guests. We had a diverse crowd and he was able to play something for everyone to enjoy:)

We booked Roem for our wedding. Can't say enough about how great he was and how much everyone loved his performance. He worked with us before the wedding on song lists. Was there and setup the day of the event without issue. MCed the reception and kept everyone engaged. We had comment after comment during and after the wedding and 90% focused on how great Roem was. We had Roem come to a Welcome to Napa Dinner the day before our daughters Wedding.
He was great! Loved his music and he was so pleasant and easy to have. He appealed to everyone from 20 yr olds and the 80 yr olds!
I even tried to book him again but he is booked!

I am writing this review to let the public know what an amazing, wonderful, organized, stressfree, and creative performer Roem Baur and his band is. His team Jules and Christiaan showed up on time, did a great set up, transitioned smoothly, and played all our favorite songs for our indoor/outdoor wedding. We hired Roem and his band to do a live set (HANDS DOWN.. AMAZING. ) and perform a DJ set for some hardcore dancing late into the evening.
We highly recommend Roem and his team for all wedding and special events. They liven the group, do a wonderful MC job, and really get people dancing by projecting their own wonderful energy into their music. I still have people asking me about the band and the DJ days later after the event.
Leading up to the event, Roem had 2 scheduled phone calls with me to talk about the playlist, the live set, the DJ set, and the timing of what I envisioned would happen the "day of". In addition, he was in contact with my "day of" coordinator and organized the sound system, the space, and how the overall "flow" of the event would be. He played live music for our prcession, the cocktail hour, after dinner, and a DJ set of "throwback" 90s/2000 dance music. Everyone needs a lil busta rhymes and missy elliot in their lives =) haha.
If you want a good party, a fun band, and good music without having to break the bank for a 12 piece band, I cannot even begin to tell you how AMAZINg these guys were =)

Roem is an entertainer. His love of what he does shines through. He is so personable and makes the show a journey through original material and familiar classics, keeping the audience engaged. Heads are bopping to the percussion of his guitar style, foot tambourine and stomp box. It was a house concert setting.
