Born in Buffalo, NY, aka “Roman Buffalo” learned about music from his 3 older sister’s record collections and parent’s cassette tapes. The wide range of sounds coming from his parents’ house inspired him to borrow his sister’s guitar in grammar school and take some lessons to learn how the instrument is played. By the time he entered high school David was playing in several bands and eventually asked to join an original group called “The Skeptics” as their lead guitarist and toured the northeast. The band opened for Three Dog Night, Triumph, The Outlaws, and 10,000 Maniacs. David moved to Southern Cal continuing to work as guitarist with several bands but decided to move to Phoenix in 1999. David started playing with several bands and doing some solo gigs as soon as he hit the valley. He made some contacts and started his own original group, “The Sandrails” in 2002. The band played plenty of shows in the southwest but like all good things, it came to end in 2010. David continued to play solo acoustic shows.
If needed Roman Buffalo can provide a sound system consisting of Peavey Monitors, JBL Speakers, Mackie Mixing Board, QSC Power Amps, and the necessary Cables.
