Early in his career, Ronn Vigh's brash attitude and acerbic wit earned him a comparison to a young Joan Rivers by SF Weekly. It was certainly a fitting comparison, as Ronn later became a writer for Rivers on her hit E! Television show "Fashion Police."
Ronn regularly performs at comedy clubs, colleges and festivals across the nation. He also co-hosts the sports-comedy podcast, "Switching Teams: A Gay Dude & A Straight Dude Talk About Sports."
His biggest accomplishment: Working briefly as a flight attendant and not attempting to smother any of his passengers with a pillow.
He has a very quick delivery style and engages the audience unlike some of the other comics who we booked that evening, when we recently had an event. He's strattles the line of edgy and endearing but many of my co-workers were re-telling his jokes the next day. He really was the stand up stand out star of the evening.

I've got jokes for days. I'm also savvy at doing crowd work and being in the moment. My style is set up/punch, fairly bold and rapid fire. I live in the moment and love a challenge. I am gay- that will come out in my act. I mean, you'll know as soon as I open my mouth. However, I'm suitable for all sorts of crowds and engagements and draw inspiration from all aspects of my life. I also listen to my client. If there is something you do or don't want.... let me know. As an experienced comic and professional, I will let you know if it can be accomplished.
Ronn Vigh’s brash attitude and acerbic wit have earned him a comparison to a young Joan Rivers by The SF Weekly. Therefore, it only makes sense that Ronn later became a writer for E! Television’s “Fashion Police” which is co-hosted by Rivers.
A stand up comic for over 18 years, Ronn is also a skilled host and emcee for your event. He has the ability to "keep on talking" and "think on his feet" while being entertaining and engaging. He's also a "comic who happens to be gay." Being who you are on stage is really the key to honing a successful act. However, Ronn is experienced and skilled at adapting his act to the audience in the room at that precise moment.
Ronn was featured on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing II” and produces the long running and very popular comedy series “Harvey’s Funny Tuesdays” for 10 years. He’s super grateful for the opportunities as a paid regular performer at major Bay Area comedy clubs such as the world famous San Francisco Punch line, Cobb's, Improv and Rooster T. Feathers. Ronn also recently headlined Reno Pride, as well as being featured at many other clubs and festivals including Rooftop Comedy’s Out Loud Festival, The 10th Annual Michigan LGBT ComedyFest, Lake Tahoe WinterFest, San Francisco Comedy & Burrito Festival, Palm Springs Pride, SketchFest, Bird City, Big Pine, Dreamforce, Laff's Tucson, L.A. Comedy Club Las Vegas, Comedy Bar Chicago and the list goes on and on and on—much like when Ronn talks.
Before stand up, Ronn studied journalism where he attended a state school in New Jersey and probably spent more money on Starbucks than tuition. Since he doesn’t want to put his four years of “hard studying” to waste, Ronn still (barely) uses the knowledge he learned to freelance write for various publications, i.e. make money when comedy is slow. He often tackles hard subjects such as “10 Best Bets for Brunch” and “Is Your Pet Gay?”
Ronn has also led a career as an award winning mixologist, flight attendant and certified yoga teacher. HIs biggest accomplishment to date: being a flight attendant for a year and not smothering any of his passengers with a pillow.

I've definitely been influenced by Joan Rivers. Most children want to watch wrestling matches or cartoons. Not me. As a child, I made deals with my mom that would allow me to stay up late and watch Joan fill in for Johnny Carson on Monday nights. I later wrote jokes that Joan would say on her E! Television show, "Fashion Police!"
