I am a story teller.
I do my best to deliver a song to my listener as genuinely and TRULY as possible.
I am a human jukebox that sings music predominately from the 1950's, 60's (and whatever other time period pleases me at the moment), but I am willing to take suggestions.
For the most part I sing “Gospel Roots Music”; Jazz, Doo-Wop, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Rock N’ Roll.
I do my best to engage with my audience (treating them like a fellow image bearer of God) and I am familiar with singing to the elderly as well.
My aim as a performer and entertainer is to love God with all my heart, soul, mind, strength and to love my neighbor as myself. Only By The Grace will I accomplish this task.

Expect 50's/ 60's Rock N' Roll, Jazz, Soul fueled music to get those toes tapping (and once you're set free, get dancin'), Alternative, Folk, experimentation with Era music and modern sounds. I'm the juke box. Let me know what you wanna hear.
My name is Ronnie Blanchet. I am a Singer/Songwriter, Musician and Sensei from Redondo Beach, California and I've been singing as long as I can remember.
I got my start in church. From then on I played saxaphone in elementary school, eventually percussion in middle school. It wasn't until after then that I had discovered bass and electric guitar as well.
After that I fell head over heels for everything that was music. This opened a whole new world for me and I began to meet other musicians that were local to (link hidden) Gods Grace, I was thrust into a life of busking, joining bands, gigging and reluctantly-since no one else wanted to: becoming a lead singer.
Being a singer, this lead to songwriter and that inevitably resulted into starting my own band. The band and I played together for years at coffee shops, restaurants, parks, sidewalks-any place that would have us at first, but then we found a spot playing within the South Bay (sometimes backyard show or underground) music community.
At the beginning, it was all for fun, but further on it began to get serious and competitive playing at places such as Saint Rocke and releasing our debut album Blonde which was a joy and a massive grace from God. I’m very grateful to Him for (all of) it.
Alas through many band member changes and through the general course of life, the group split. I was left with the songs I sang, and no one to sing with so as some birds do I had to fly solo. I went back to the coffee shops, did duos and even busked here and there, but it wasn't till recently that I was asked to perform for the elderly so I started singing Jazz standards regularly (by The Lords Grace) at The Kensington Redondo Beach where I gained much experience and enjoyed my time doing it, the people I meet, and seemingly the lives that were touched by it. After covid hit I stopped giggin’ around for awhile, but decided to start up performing again. Recently I have performed at a restaurant called Novo Cafe, in Westlake Village, CA, and I aim to be performing a lot more! By Gods Grace, I’ve most recently been entertaining the elderly once more and am part of a new band! It’d be a blessing and a privilege to sing for you.
